GBD has built up an extensive knowledge bank concerning products and the ergonomics of caring for the less able, much of this has been gained by consulting with health-care professionals.
Inclusive for All
As life expectancy rises and modern medicine increases the survival rate of the less able and those with significant injuries and illnesses, there is a growing interest in design that is inclusive for all of us. For over 25 years, GBD has been involved in the development of equipment and proceedures for the care of the less able particularly concerning moving and handling of passive people and promoting or assisting their mobility.
