It was essential that the fly killer range reflected the client's brand values and solved both visual and physical issues which had been reported by customers and service technicians. As the first UV LED fly killer, the catch rate must have been equivalent or higher than its competitors whilst keeping a compact profile. There would be visual elements which could be easily applied across the range of fly killers.

Working closely with our client’s research team, we created designs which controlled the UV light in particular ways to increase fly catch. An adaptive light feature was designed to optimise light output and reduce energy consumption. The range was designed to improve safety and ease of servicing for technicians, saving money for the customer by using less energy, and offered a much improved aesthetic solution to blend in with its environment.
